Jorunn, the skilled shieldmaiden, is a fascinating character – fiercely loyal and courageous, yet also capable of great compassion. Seeing her navigate the complexities of duty, honor, and forbidden love was captivating.

Madlen, the holy sister dedicated to protecting Miðgarðr, adds another layer of depth. Her unwavering commitment to her sacred mission, alongside her unexpected attraction to Jorunn, creates a compelling internal conflict that kept me on the edge of my seat.
